Winter Haus is a Black-owned and operated destination ski weekend in Lake Tahoe, bringing together young professionals ages 21–33 for skiing and snow activities, curated events, nightlife, and community.
Winter Haus will take place from January 28–31, 2027.

Winter Haus is a 21+ experience. A valid government-issued photo ID is required to check in and receive weekend wristband.
No! Skiing and snowboarding are completely optional. Guests can enjoy sledding, ice skating, social events, nightlife, and other curated experiences throughout the weekend.
EVENTS & WEEKEND INFORMATION
General event information and updates will be available on www.theafrohaus.com. A more detailed itinerary, including event locations, times, and check-in information, will be sent to registered guests closer to the event.
Yes. Wristbands will be given at the time of check-in and required for access to Winter Haus events and activities. Wristbands are assigned to the registered guest and cannot be shared or transferred once issued. Pickup instructions will be provided closer to the event.
Wristbands must remain on for the entire Winter Haus weekend. Lost or removed wristbands are subject to a $150 replacement fee.
Yes! Guests are welcome to bring their own equipment. Rentals may be included with select packages or available as an add-on.
That is okay, beginners are welcomed! Beginner-friendly options and ski lessons may be available depending on your package. There will also be ice skating or tubing available as an add-on.
PACKAGES & TICKETS
Package inclusions vary and may include rentals, lift tickets, lessons, meals, transportation, and events depending on your selected package and add-ons. Please review your package details before booking to see exactly what is included and what is available as an add-on.
Packages that include the meal plan receive access to two dinners at the hotel dining hall. Meals are unlimited during the designated dinner periods.
Brunch is included only in packages that specifically list brunch. Brunch will take place at the hotel and is unlimited.
Upgrades may be available depending on availability. Any price difference and applicable fees will be due at the time of the upgrade. For upgrade requests or questions, please contact our support team at support@theafrohaus.com
Yes. Package transfers/name changes are permitted until January 15, 2027, and are subject to a $15 transfer fee.
HOTEL & TRAVEL
No. Hotel accommodations at our host hotel are not included in Winter Haus packages and must be booked through Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino (17 Lake Tahoe Blvd, Stateline, NV). Please see the housing page for more details on booking your hotel.
Your pass covers Winter Haus programming only.
Yes, but we strongly encourage all Winter Haus guests to stay at our host hotel, Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, to get the full Winter Haus experience and stay close to weekend activities and fellow attendees. Guests who choose accommodations elsewhere will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Winter Haus activities.
No. Flights are not included. Guests are responsible for booking their own airfare.
Guests may fly into SFO, OAK, or RNO.
Transportation varies by package. Select packages include mountain shuttle transportation. For a seamless trip to Lake Tahoe, Winter Haus will also offer round-trip charter transportation from Oakland (OAK) on January 28, with return transportation on January 31.
PAYMENTS & REFUNDS
Yes. Payment plans are available at checkout through our booking platform. Your payment schedule will be shown before completing your purchase.

Payment plans are managed through our booking platform. Please keep your payment information current and review the payment terms provided when booking.
Refund eligibility depends on when your request is submitted. Full refunds, partial refunds, or event credits may be available based on the date of your request. After December 31, 2026, all purchases are non-refundable, but tickets may be transferred to another guest through January 15, 2027. Please review our full Refund Policy for details.
Booking protection may be available through XCover at checkout. Coverage is separate from Winter Haus, and guests should review the coverage terms before purchasing.
Schedules, venues, activities, and other event details may change due to weather, safety, operational needs, or circumstances outside of our control.
